Ibogaine and psychedelic therapies are being fast-tracked for veterans, largely unregulated, with almost no shared standard for how a patient is prepared, screened, and honestly informed before treatment. We built that missing standard — the science, the education, the protocol, and the certification structure. It is complete, honest, and evidence-graded. But it is not for patient use until a licensed physician owns and signs the clinical content. That's the invitation.
A universal readiness standard — cardiac and psychiatric screening, medication reconciliation, honest informed consent, and support — before any of these medicines. Real safety, not hype.
Operation Whole Health develops nutritional prep protocols/products. The standards function is kept separate from the commercial one. This packet is educational; it supports — never replaces — a clinic's own care and consent.
We grade our own claims: where the evidence is a hypothesis, we say so. We led with the hard safety truths (cardiac/QT, CYP2D6, drug interactions), not the miracle stories.
Not a treatment provider, not claiming any substance is safe or effective, not medical clearance. We build the honest preparation layer around whatever a clinic delivers.
We are asking you to become the named Clinical Author / Medical Director for this standard: to review the clinical content, tell us where we're wrong, and shape a standard the whole field could adopt. How we protect you and the work:
Seven documents, one honest voice. Start with the science; the rest builds on it.
| # | Document | What it is / why read it |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | White Paper | Brain Terrain & Psychedelic Readiness. The evidence review — is our science honest and correctly graded? Start here. |
| 2 | Protocol v1 (Universal) | The operational framework: one Common Core (Screen → Prepare → Clear-to-Treat) + a safety annex per medicine. Is the clinical framework sound? |
| 3 | Modality Education Library | The master list of all modalities + an honest patient brief for each (ibogaine, MDMA, ketamine, psilocybin, LSD, cannabis, kratom). |
| 4 | Patient Track | The complete 12-module patient course — including the informed-consent and risk modules that need your line-by-line sign-off. |
| 5 | Caregiver Track | The complete 8-module course for the family member — the under-served "second patient." |
| 6 | Course Architecture | The blueprint tying the curriculum together (optional overview). |
| 7 | Certification Framework | Where this is headed: how programs certify to the standard (PADI-style), the governance, and the role you'd help lead. |
If any of this resonates, I'd be honored by half an hour of your time to talk it through — what you'd change, what you'd need, and whether you'd consider leading it clinically. We're doing this for the same reason you do your work: so the men and women who served get healed safely, and no one is lost in the gap between the hype and the truth.
